April Hunt, Inspection Intern

April Hunt is a home inspector intern for Sound Home Inspection, LLC. Born and raised in Connecticut, she knows how varied and interesting New England homes can be. As part of the inspection team, she is well-versed in providing administrative assistance to Tom Morgan, taking photographs for Tom during home inspections and inputting information into the home inspection software.

April is a former special education teacher, and has been inducted into the CT Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame, and The CT Women’s Volleyball Hall of Fame. She is originally from Milford, CT, where she is soon to be inducted into the Milford Athletic Hall of Fame. In 1973, she was the first female athlete from Milford, CT to have been awarded an athletic scholarship, which brought her to the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She played basketball for the Badgers, and her competitive spirit, strong work ethic and patience are carried over from the courts and classrooms to the home inspection industry.
